I was 15 years old, sitting on the toilet with my Virgin Mobile slide up phone when I made my first meme. This is where it all began.
That day marked the beginning of my [social] media journey. I began making memes on Instagram. Once Instagram updated to allow for video uploads (man I am REALLY dating myself here) I began uploading comedy skits where I amassed an instagram following of over 20,000. Fast forward 12 years later and here we are.
In July of 2019 I purchased a Nikon D3300 for $250 from someone on Facebook Marketplace with the sole intention of using it to record Youtube and Instagram videos. I didn’t know anything about cameras, but I knew I’d learn. From that day on I fell in love with all things photo and video. In October of 2019 I purchased Final Cut Pro and began teaching myself how to edit videos. The following month I purchased my first mirrorless camera, the Sony a6400. Since that day I’ve owned and used a slew of cameras, lenses, and other gear. Cameras became the passion I never knew I’d find.
Currently I am continuing to make content both for myself and others. My main goal is storytelling that is interesting, engaging, entertaining, and impactful. I dedicate every day to honing my skills, learning, traveling, having fun, and enjoying life and expressing myself the best way I know how.
